Holding a MA in Communication from the University of Maine, Julie brings a rich background of experience to her role at Arete. From working as a career educator, researcher, and community forum facilitator at Colorado State University; to rolling up her sleeves and diving into experiential education working for Cooperative Extension; to teaching and advising undergraduates at the University of Maine, she has developed a passion for helping young adults explore the future’s possibilities. Raised in Colorado, Julie enjoys exploring nature, playing piano and guitar, and writing poetry.
